Brandon Warren

Board Member at The Tulsa Initiative

Mr. Warren is a community organizer, global citizen, and believer in the liberation of oppressed peoples through systematic change. In college, he pursued and was granted a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Urban Studies from Texas Christian University and a certificate in Global Human Rights from The University of Pennsylvania's Carey Law School. During his journey, he worked on local political campaigns, the U.S. Census Bureau, and interned with the Department of Veteran Affairs, and was an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

Post-graduation, he became a fellow with Dr. Jared Williams' Campaign for City Council District 6 in Fort Worth,TX, as well as worked with United Fort Worth, pushing for a progressive vision for the city, collaborating with various organizations like the AFLCIO, Working Families Party, Black Voters Matter, and the Atatiana Jefferson Foundation. Mr. Warren now serves as a Policy Fellow with the Terence Crutcher Foundation, a social justice organization seated on Black Wall Street in Tulsa, OK. With this foundation, he partners with many national and local partners like the NAACP and Human Rights Watch to achieve the mission of the foundation which is to create just and liberated communities free from racial violence and harm.
