Brenton L. Logan

Vice Chair at The Tulsa Initiative

Mr. Logan is a graduate of the nation’s oldest historically Black university in the South, Shaw University. Brenton says social justice and life lessons gleaned from the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. inspired him to become engaged in community service and community-based organizations that effectuate positive impact in minority communities. He began to promote the value of quality education, the need for affordable housing, and mentoring students. King’s quote, everybody can be great, because everybody can serve, reflects Brenton’s mantra. Brenton has been employed with Amazon since 2019 and serves as a program manager. Before this position, Brenton was employed by Lenovo in Durham, NC. Brenton currently resides in Arlington, VA, and looks forward to growing professionally with Amazon and becoming active in his new community
