Richard Shell is an experienced professional currently serving as Managing Director and Owner at The Doxford Group since September 2014, overseeing Doxford Barns, Charlton Hall, and The Tempus Hotel. In addition to this role, Richard co-founded The Twist Group in June 2017 and served as a trustee for Dragonfly Cancer Trust from June 2019 to June 2020. Prior experience includes a position as Customer Experience & Communications Manager for Operations Shared Services Europe at the Royal Bank of Scotland from October 2012 to July 2014, where Richard led initiatives for a workforce of approximately 650 FTE. Previous roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland also include Team Manager of AML Operations and Information Security Analyst, in addition to internships in Procurement Services and Management at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Richard holds a MA (Hons) in Business Studies from The University of Edinburgh, earned in 2012.

Chrissie Plunkett heads up the agency and is an experienced and respected senior communications professional, who has worked in marketing for 20 years, across sport, tourism and luxury sectors. Prior to setting up Twist, Chrissie led the strategic marketing direction for one of the world's biggest equestrian brands, and also has experience of working with with Vango, Montane and Bergans of Norway. Inside Twist, we have a small, tight-knit team working from our studio in the centre of Newcastle and we share the mantra “the more intriguing a campaign, the better results we engineer” . We know the world is full of sensible brands doing sensible things that nobody ever notices and that's why our approach is to inject brilliant creativity into brand campaigns, by thinking differently and coming up with ideas that intrigue audiences, get people talking and earn share of voice.
