Ian Laws

Ian Laws has a strong background in the healthcare sector, with extensive experience in strategic advice for early and late phase development, regulatory strategy, and technical diligence for business development activities. Ian currently serves as the Healthcare Sector Head at Arora Digital since March 2019. Prior to this, Ian founded Kaig Consulting Limited in 2017, where they worked as a Director, leveraging their 25 years of experience in companies like GSK, SB, and Pfizer. Before starting Kaig Consulting, they held the position of Vice President / Medicines Development Leader at Glaxo Smith Kline Pharmaceuticals from March 2011 to May 2017, overseeing a large scale, global cardiovascular drug development program. Ian also has previous experience as the Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs at GlaxoSmithKline, where they led teams of regulatory professionals and worked closely with global agencies such as FDA, EMA, PMDA, and others. Ian began their career in 1989 as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at Pfizer.

Ian Laws received their education in the field of Biochemistry/Metabolism. From 1978 to 1993, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree at Imperial College London.
