The Uncommon Thread
Melissa Nolan is a skilled professional in applied behavior analysis, currently working as a BCBA and Behavioral Therapist at The Uncommon Thread since August 2016, providing 1:1 ABA therapy in home and school settings. Previously, Melissa contributed as a Behavioral Therapist at The Bridge Program at REED Academy and held various child care and therapeutic roles, focusing on language skill development and self-care for children and adolescents with behavioral challenges. Additional experience includes managerial positions in retail, where Melissa developed operational best practices and led teams to improved performance. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Green Mountain College.

The Uncommon Thread (TUT) is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing the lives of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). TUT provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and services in-center, in-home, in-public schools, in-private schools and in the community. The Uncommon Thread is not a destination, but rather a pathway to a more independent life. Improved outcomes and the commitment of our founders set us apart.
