Jurgen Appelo

Jurgen Appelo is an accomplished founder and entrepreneur with extensive experience in management and organizational design. Currently serving as the Founder of The unFIX Company since January 2022, Jurgen focuses on organization design for continuous innovation and enhanced human experiences. As the Owner of Happy Melly since January 2000, Jurgen oversees various professional activities, including speaking engagements and writing projects. Jurgen also contributes as a Thinker on Management 3.0 at Wemanity Group since February 2018 and previously established the successful Management 3.0 brand. Jurgen's career includes significant roles such as Chief Information Officer at ISM eCompany and technical leadership at Broekhuis Solutions. Jurgen holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Delft University of Technology, earned between 1987 and 1993. Recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year in The Netherlands in 1999, Jurgen has been a pioneer in fostering agile practices and innovative management approaches throughout a diverse professional journey.
