George Chen is the Director at The United States Information Technology Office. Prior to that, they were with meet - Middle East Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow as a Computer Science Instructor for two summers.

George has always been interested in computers and technology. George started teaching himself coding when they were just 13 years old. George's passion for computer science led him to pursue a degree in the field from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

At MEET, George had the opportunity to work with Palestinian and Israeli high school students and teach them about web development. George was inspired by the students' dedication to learning and their eagerness to create positive change in the world.

George is committed to using their skills and knowledge to help others. George is excited to continue working with the US Information Technology Office to make a difference in the world.

George Chen received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. George also holds an Engineer's Degree in Electrical Engineer from the same school. Prior to that, they received their Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. George Chen started their educational career by receiving a Bachelor's Degree in dual majors of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, Engineering Mathematics and Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
