David Heenan

David Heenan is currently a Web UX Designer at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Prior to their current position, David worked as Special Projects Lead at the Food Bank of North Alabama, where they were responsible for creating web, print, fundraising, and technical content. David has also worked as an English teacher at Kingsway Regional High School and Alameda High School. In addition to their professional experience, David has also volunteered with the San Francisco Food Bank, where they supervised volunteers. David’s experience and skills make him well-suited for their current position as a Web UX Designer.

David Heenan has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Saint Joseph's University and a Master of Arts in Urban Secondary Education from the University of California, Berkeley.

They are on a team with Jody Precise - Web Coordinator, Brittney Cox - Web Content Developer, and Todd Page - Web Developer & Programmer. David Heenan reports to Andrea Thompson, Director, Digital Communications.
