Timothy Blackman

Timothy Blackman is a graduate research assistant at the UAH Propulsion Research Center, where involvement includes leading experimental research on a NASA contract focused on high performance Centrifugal Nuclear Thermal Propulsion (CNTP). Previous roles encompass research engineer at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, aerospace/mechanical engineering intern at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, and various positions at the Florida Institute of Technology, including resident director and assistant. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Systems Engineering in progress at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from the same institution.
