Muriel Foster

Muriel Foster is a highly experienced IT and audit professional with over 20 years of progressive experience in various leadership and managerial roles. Currently serving as the Director of IT - Internal Audit at The University of Alabama System since March 2014, Muriel has a strong background in operational risk management and internal auditing, having previously held positions at PwC Birmingham, Freddie Mac, and Pepsi Bottling Group. Muriel began a career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as a Senior Associate after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Management Information Systems, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Textile Management and Technology, both from Auburn University. Prior experience includes roles at Auburn University and Burlington Industries, highlighting a diverse skill set in both business and engineering disciplines.
