Andrea Ziegler

Andrea Ziegler has worked as the Director for Community Education at The University of Alabama since June 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Teacher at Rock Quarry Elementary School from August 2013 to May 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Teacher at Daisy Elementary School from August 2007 to May 2012.

Andrea Ziegler has a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Alabama, which they obtained between 2020 and 2024. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2007. Their undergraduate education was completed at Samford University between 1996 and 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English.
