David Miller

David Miller currently holds the position of Director of Communications for Advancement at The University of Alabama, overseeing marketing and communications efforts related to the university's philanthropic initiatives. Since 2014, David has also served as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching news writing and reporting labs. Previous roles include Communications Specialist at The University of Alabama School of Social Work and Director of Communications and PR at Stillman College. Additionally, David has freelance experience as a writer and photographer, covering sports in Mississippi and Alabama. David's journalism career began as a sports editor and reporter for various publications, including Starkville Daily News and Commercial Dispatch. David holds a degree in Communication, Broadcasting, and Journalism from Mississippi State University.
