Dr. Robbin Young

Dr. Robbin Young, DNP, NE-BC, serves as the Chief Nursing Officer and Associate Faculty at The University of Alabama since April 2024 and as Associate Faculty at Chamberlain University since November 2022. Previous experience includes a role in Clinical and Education Solutions at AMN Healthcare from May 2022 to March 2024 and Director of Nursing Services at Adventist HealthCare from January 2020 to August 2022, where responsibilities encompassed management of 175 employees and oversight of various nursing committees. Dr. Young also held the position of Interim Chief Nursing Officer at Inova Alexandria Hospital from November 2014 to January 2020. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Grand Canyon University, a Master's in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland at Baltimore.
