Associate Vice President Facilities & Grounds at The University of Alabama

Duane Lamb has an extensive work experience, with significant roles in both the academic and military sectors. Duane served as the Associate Vice President for Facilities & Grounds at The University of Alabama starting from July 2007. Before that, they held the position of Assistant VP for Facilities & Grounds at the same institution. Prior to their time at the university, they had a long and successful career in the United States Air Force. Duane achieved the rank of Colonel (Retired) and served worldwide for a period of 30 years, from May 1977 to June 2007.

Duane Lamb holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Organizational Management from Golden Gate University, which was obtained from 1982 to 1983. Duane also has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from The University of Alabama, which was obtained from 1972 to 1976. In addition, they have received various certifications from the United States Air Force, including training in the National Incident Management System (NIMS), Spacelift Commander Certification, and Disaster On-Scene Commander Certification.
