Latoya Scott

LaToya Scott currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at The University of Alabama, providing strategic leadership and vision to enhance diversity and inclusion initiatives. With a career at the same institution spanning over a decade, LaToya held various roles including Director of University Programs, Course Instructor, Manager of University Engagement & Campus Development, and Coordinator of Union Programs and Student Development. LaToya oversees programs and services that support the success of a diverse student body and has a strong focus on co-curricular experiences in event programming. Educational credentials include a Doctorate of Philosophy in Instructional Technology and Educational Leadership Studies, a Master's in Higher Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Multicultural Development and Communication, all obtained from The University of Alabama.
