Mike Tierney

Mike Tierney has a diverse work history that spans over two decades. Mike began their career as a Systems Intern at Sun Life Financial in 1999 and continued in that role until 2001. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as an IT Coordinator at Holy Spirit Catholic Regional School. In 2006, they joined Eduventures as the Director of Technology, where they worked until 2012. Following that, Mike held the position of Director of Telecommunications and User Services at The University of Alabama from 2012 to 2019. Since 2019, they have been serving as the Executive Director of OIT Operations at the same university.

Mike Tierney has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Boston College, which they earned from 1998 to 2002. Mike then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems at Boston University from 2007 to 2009.
