Nathan Culmer

Nathan Culmer is an Assistant Professor of Higher Education and Director of Academic Technologies and Faculty Development at The University of Alabama since August 2016. Previously, Nathan served as an Instructional Designer at Penn State University from July 2012 to August 2016 and held a role in Instructional Technology at The University of Iowa from August 2006 to June 2012, where Nathan was also a PhD candidate. Nathan holds a PhD in Higher Education Administration/Education Policy and Leadership Studies from the University of Iowa, an MA in Human Communication Studies from California State University, Fullerton, and a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Utah State University.
