Steven Hood

Steven Hood is the Interim VP of Student Life at The University of Alabama. Prior to their current position, they served as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Housing at the University of TN at Chattanooga from January 2003 to September 2011. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing University Housing and Financial Debt Service Management for Student Development. From July 1999 to January 2003, Steven Hood was the Area Coordinator at Samford University. In this role, they were responsible for the West Campus Area Coordinator. Prior to that, they were the Admissions/Marketing Director at Cross Creek Health Care from November 1996 to March 1999.

Steven Hood works with Ryan Bradley - Vice President for Strategic Communications, James Dalton - Executive Vice President and Provost, and Chad Tindol - Chief Administrative Officer. Steven Hood reports to Stuart R. Bell, President.
