Al Kassam

Al Kassam currently serves as a Mentor In Residence at the University of Arizona, where involvement includes assisting researchers in transforming inventions into market-ready products and guiding them through startup processes. Previously, Al held prominent positions at Chorus Intelligence, including Head of North America and COO for its North American division. Additional experience encompasses roles such as Advisor for Product Strategy at ForensicLogic, VP of Business Development and Channels at Ayasdi, and various executive positions at IBM Corporation, including Executive in Business and Corporate Development. Al’s career began with founding Briyante Software Corp, where leadership spanned from President to Board Chair. Academic credentials include an MBA in International Business from The University of British Columbia and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University.
