Chris Olson

Chris Olson is a seasoned law enforcement professional currently serving as the Chief of Police for the University of Arizona Police Department since August 2017, alongside an academic role as Adjunct Instructor in the School of Government and Public Policy. Previously, Chris held multiple leadership positions at the Oro Valley Police Department, including Field Services Commander and Support Services Division Commander, with a career there spanning from December 2006 to the present. Chris holds a Master of Education in Human Relations from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Park University, complemented by specialized training from the FBI National Academy and Northwestern University's School for Police Staff and Command.
