Catherine Garvey Goldthorpe

Catherine Garvey Goldthorpe has an extensive work history. Catherine began their career as an RN at the University of Chicago Hospitals in 1984 and worked there until 1990. Catherine then joined Cassiday Schade LLP, where they served as a Partner for 25 years, from 1990 to 2015. Following that, Catherine co-founded Brennan Garvey LLC in 2015 and served as a Founding Partner until 2016. Currently, they are the Senior Associate General Counsel and Executive Director of the Professional Liability Plan at the University of Chicago Medicine.

Catherine Garvey Goldthorpe attended Regina Dominican High School from an unknown start year until 1979. Following high school, they enrolled in the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1979 to 1981. Catherine then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Illinois Chicago, completing their studies from 1981 to 1984. Finally, Catherine attended DePaul University from 1986 to 1990, obtaining their Juris Doctor degree.
