Naida Cole

Naida Cole currently serves as the Chief of the Division of Obstetric Anesthesia at UChicago Medicine, a position held since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles such as Anesthesiologist and various fellowship positions at Brigham and Women's Hospital from December 2016 to August 2021, and an anesthesiology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital from August 2013 to November 2016. Naida began a career in medicine after a period of self-employment as a concert pianist from 1995 to 2007. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, a Postbaccalaureate Premedical Certificate from Columbia University, and music degrees from both the Université de Montréal and The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University.
