Rob Marshall

Rob Marshall has a diverse range of work experience, starting as a Crash Safety Engineer at TNO-MADYMO N.A. from 1998 to 2002. Rob then served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana from 2002 to 2004, where they taught math and science and developed HIV/AIDS education programs. After that, they worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Virginia from 2004 to 2005. From 2006 to 2006, they were a Business Development Consultant at Johnson & Johnson, conducting market research and preparing cases to support internal funding for Advanced Device Concepts. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as an Associate at McKinsey & Company, evaluating changes to a medical device sales force and modeling regional demand for healthcare services. Rob then joined ZS Associates as a Consultant from 2010 to 2013, focusing on projects with medical device and diagnostics clients and working on various areas such as sales force design, marketing strategy, and sales operations. Currently, they serve as the Director of Strategy & Market Intelligence at the University of Chicago Medicine since 2013.

Rob Marshall earned their Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University in 1998. Rob then went on to complete their Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Wayne State University from 1999 to 2001. In 2007, they obtained their MBA with a concentration in Health Sector Management from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business.
