Sandeep Nathan

Medical Director, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at The University of Chicago Medical Center

Sandeep Nathan, MD, MSc has extensive experience in the field of medicine, with a focus on interventional cardiology. Sandeep started their career as the Director of Interventional Cardiology at Cook County Hospital in 2002, a position they held until 2007. During this time, they also served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rush University Medical Center. In 2007, they joined the University of Chicago as the Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program and later took on additional roles such as Co-Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Medical Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. In 2013, they became an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago. Sandeep Nathan has made significant contributions to the field of interventional cardiology throughout their career.

Sandeep Nathan, MD, MSc attended Boston University from 1988 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Sandeep then went on to study at Boston University School of Medicine from 1991 to 1995, graduating with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.
