Ursula Dolan

Ursula Dolan is an accomplished nursing leader with extensive experience in oncology and stem cell transplant care. Currently serving as the Associate Chief Nursing Officer and Executive Director of Cancer Nursing at UChicago Medicine since September 2008, Ursula oversees operations for four inpatient units, one surge unit, and three outpatient units, managing a total of 121 beds and 240 full-time equivalents. Previous roles include directing the Cancer Medicine Services and serving as Patient Care Manager for the Inpatient and Outpatient Stem Cell Transplant Unit, where Ursula successfully reduced patient length of stay and coordinated staff training and strategic planning. Ursula's career began at Loyola University Medical Center in roles including Clinical Program Coordinator for the Bone Marrow Transplant Program, contributing to comprehensive care from referral through discharge. Educational credentials include a Master of Health Administration from Valparaiso University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago.
