Ben Cox

Ben Cox is a highly experienced professional in the fields of intellectual property and medical device engineering. Currently, as a Senior Manager at the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago, Ben oversees a diverse portfolio of technologies related to Quantum Information Science, medical devices, and medical imaging. Ben is also the Co-Founder and Head of Hardware and Development at Phantech LLC, specializing in manufacturing medical imaging phantoms. Previous roles include serving as a Berbee-Walsh Postdoctoral Fellow at the Morgridge Institute for Research, where Ben managed innovative medical device projects, and as a Director of Operations at WiSolve. With a Ph.D. in Health/Medical Physics and a background in mechanical engineering, Ben's expertise spans advanced fabrication methods and mentoring student engineers.
