Bilal Baqar

Bilal Baqar is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software and platform engineering. Currently serving as Lead Platform Engineer and DevOps Engineer at the University of Chicago, Bilal has previously held the position of Lead Software Engineer at Xgrid.co and contributed to the Professional Services Team at PLUMgrid Inc., which was later acquired by VMware. Bilal is recognized as an Active Technical Contributor (ATC) for OpenStack and began a career in engineering as an intern at Indus Motor Company Ltd. Bilal is pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, set to graduate in June 2024.
