Eric Ginsburg currently serves as the Senior Director of Intellectual Property and Technology Development at the University of Chicago since December 2020, and has been involved with the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University in a Technology Commercialization role since 2016. Ginsburg's tenure at the University of Chicago spans from 2001 to present, including positions such as Director, Associate Director, Assistant Director, Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager for UChicagoTech. Prior to this, Ginsburg was employed at Abbott from 1996 to 2001 as a Research Investigator and Senior Research Chemist, as well as at Eastman Kodak Company as a Research Scientist from 1992 to 1996, and at IBM as a Visiting Scientist from 1991 to 1992. Ginsburg earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from Caltech and a Bachelor of Science (S.B.) in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
