Everett Vokes currently serves as the Physician-In-Chief at the University of Chicago Medicine, a position held since July 2010, while also being the Chair of the Department of Medicine and Chief of the Section of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Chicago since 1998. Educationally, Everett Vokes completed a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Chicago from 1983 to 1986 and underwent training at the University of Southern California-Los Angeles County Hospital from 1982 to 1983, as well as at Ravenswood Hospital from 1980 to 1982. Additionally, Everett Vokes earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Bonn, graduating in 1980.
