Katrina Carder

Kate Carder currently serves as the Managing Director of Inflation Sensitive and Diversifying Strategies at The University of Chicago's Office of Investments, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Kate accumulated over a decade of experience at the same institution as a Senior Portfolio Manager for both Real Assets and Public Markets & Absolute Return. Earlier career roles include Research Analyst at Leavitt Capital Management and Equity Options Trader at Edgewater Partners, as well as a Derivatives Trader at Susquehanna International Group. Kate holds an MBA in Finance and Organizational Behavior from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics and Asian Studies from Northwestern University.
