Libby Rosenfeld

Libby Rosenfeld is an experienced fundraising professional currently serving as the Director of Individual Giving for Medicine and Biological Sciences at the University of Chicago since September 2022. Prior to this role, Libby held the position of Senior Director of Development, Principal Gifts at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, where responsibilities included securing multi-million dollar donations for various projects. Earlier experience at the University of Missouri saw Libby in multiple advancement roles, where essential duties involved building relationships with alumni and securing major gifts. Additional teaching experience includes positions as an 8th-grade social studies teacher and a substitute teacher. Libby holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
