Liz Braun Rush

Liz Braun Rush serves as the Executive Director for Strategic Communications in the Division of the Social Sciences at The University of Chicago since October 2015, and previously held the role of Director of External Engagement at the Becker Friedman Institute for Research in Economics. Prior to this, Liz held multiple communications positions at Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, culminating as Associate Dean of Communications, and also served as Director of Communications at Woods Hole Research Center. Early career experience includes a role in Development/Communications at Washington University in St. Louis. Liz holds a Master's degree in Education and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and History, all from Saint Louis University, and is an alumna of Cor Jesu Academy.
