Mario Polizzi

Mario Polizzi is an accomplished higher education professional with extensive experience in administrative and strategic roles. Currently serving as Associate Vice President at the University of Chicago since March 2013, Mario has held multiple leadership positions, including Assistant Vice President for Student Services and Executive Director for Administration and Planning. Prior to this, Mario was at Loyola University Chicago as Director of Executive Education, and has also contributed to various roles at EPIC Academy and the Harris School of Public Policy. Early career positions include Communications Director for the City of Chicago's Office of Alderman Gene Schulter and roles at prominent institutions like Northwestern University and the Field Museum. Mario's educational background includes an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a BA from DePaul University in Communications and English.
