Michael Hayes

Michael Hayes has extensive experience in student affairs and campus life, currently serving as Interim Dean of Students and Associate Vice President for Student Life at the University of Chicago since February 2016. Prior roles include Executive Director of Campus Life at Washington University in St. Louis and Director of Fraternity/Sorority Life at the University of Maryland. Michael also held positions at Cornell University, DePauw University, and has been a Co-Lead Facilitator at LeaderShape, Inc. since 1991. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Student Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, both from Indiana State University.
