Richard Mason

Richard Mason has extensive experience in leadership roles within educational and operational settings. Currently serving as Associate Vice President for Campus Life and Associate Dean in the College at the University of Chicago since March 2005, Richard has previously held positions such as Assistant Vice President for Campus Life and Executive Director of UChicago Dining. Richard's involvement in the Oak Lawn Hometown District 123 includes a tenure on the Board of Education since April 2008, serving as President from April 2014 to April 2017. Prior experience at Brookfield Zoo as Director of Membership and as Assistant Director of Student Housing at the University of Chicago complements Richard's background. Richard holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and a Master's degree in History from the University of Oklahoma, along with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Advertising from the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business.
