Rick Stevens serves as the Associate Laboratory Director at Argonne National Laboratory, overseeing research in Computing, Environmental Science, and Life Sciences since 1991. Concurrently, Rick holds the position of Mathematics and Computer Science Division Director and Professor at the University of Chicago, where teaching and research focus on high-performance computing, computer architecture, systems biology, genomics, and related technologies. Additionally, Rick is a Co-Founder and Senior Fellow at the Computation Institute, which promotes interdisciplinary collaborations in computational science alongside Argonne National Laboratory. Rick's educational background includes degrees from Michigan State University, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Northwestern University.
