Perdita Fraser

Perdita Fraser is an experienced director, board advisor and angel investor in the cleantech SME/start-up industry in the UK and the US. She has held board roles across the private, public and third sectors, building on her experience in advisory, risk management and capital raising as a former investment banker with JP Morgan. Her specific focus areas have been financial sustainability, new technology, social enterprise and building cross-sector partnership between public, private, third and international organisations. She is a board member of the National Lottery Community Fund and has had board roles for over 25 years on several educational/social mobility charities including Access Aspiration, Rugby Portobello Trust and IntoUniversity. She is an adviser to Ashoka UK, a partner of SJF&Co and serves on several audit and risk committees. She is a founder member of Chapter Zero, the UK chapter of the World Economic Forum’s Climate Governance Initiative, and also of Changing the Chemistry, an Edinburgh-based UK-wide organisation dedicated to improving diversity of thought on boards. She is an ambassador for Women on Boards, has led gender and geographic diversity initiatives with the UK Cabinet Office and sits as an independent panel member for UK government public appointments. She was named as one of the “100 Women to Watch” on the female FTSE Board Report 2015 compiled by Cranfield University. Perdita is a graduate of Edinburgh University and is a Fellow of the RSA.
