Brian Umlah

Brian Umlah is an accomplished information security professional currently serving as an Information Security Specialist at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement since October 2022. With over a decade of experience at ACT, Brian previously held multiple roles, culminating in the position of Senior Manager of Test Security Data Analytics and Capabilities. Brian's educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Security from Boston University, alongside a Doctor of Musical Arts in Trumpet Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Iowa, as well as degrees from Yale University and the University of Iowa in Trumpet Performance.
