Gabe Gomez, MFA, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gabe currently serves as the Managing Director of Marketing and Communications at The University of New Mexico Foundation, Inc. since March 2021. Prior to this, Gabe was the Director of Marketing and Communications at the International Folk Art Market from November 2016 to March 2021. Gabe also worked as a Marketing and Communications Consultant for the same organization from March 2016 to November 2016.

Following this, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Creative Writing from Saint Mary's College of California, where they studied from 1998 to 2000. In 2022, Gabe decided to further enhance their managerial skills and enrolled at UNM Anderson School of Management to pursue an Executive MBA, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
