Christie Poteet

Christie Poteet serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where responsibilities include managing student development initiatives, overseeing community engagement projects, and coordinating an on-campus food pantry and emergency shelter. With extensive experience in higher education, Christie has developed and implemented various programs that foster civic engagement and social responsibility among students while working closely with numerous community partners. Additional roles include Adjunct Instructor at Sandhills Community College, Public Information Consultant for Robeson County Administration, and Basic Course Instructor at UNC Greensboro. Christie holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and Master and Bachelor degrees in Communication Studies from UNC Greensboro and Berea College, respectively.
