Johnny Cox

Johnny Cox has extensive experience in football coaching, currently serving as the Associate Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Quarterback Coach at UNC Pembroke since March 2014. Prior roles include WR Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at North Carolina A&T State University from August 2012 to March 2014, and Assistant Football Coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars from January 2009 to January 2011. Additionally, Johnny worked as Defensive Quality Control Coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers between April 2008 and January 2009, and as WR Coach and Special Teams Coordinator at the College of the Holy Cross from April 2007 to May 2008. Johnny holds a Master's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Fort Lewis College. Early education was completed at Overland High, where a high school diploma was earned.
