Taner Jacobs

Taner Jacobs is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in digital and social media management. Currently serving as the Digital & Social Media Manager and Communications & Marketing Manager at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Taner leads university-wide photoshoots and implements social media marketing strategies. Previous roles include Social Media Coordinator at Mason Dixie Foods, where Taner managed social media accounts, created content calendars, and developed brand collaborations. Additional experience spans positions at Ben & Jerry's as a New Market Brand Specialist, Social Media Manager for The Red Justice Project, and various roles within the Carolina Indian Circle. Taner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
