Daniel Howorth

Daniel Howorth serves as the Associate Director of IT Planning and Architecture at The University of Queensland since July 2023, leading technology strategy and planning initiatives. Prior to this role, Daniel held various senior positions at Roche Diagnostics from 2001 to 2022, including Head of IT Strategy and Architecture, where responsibilities included developing IT strategies that aligned with business goals, managing the IT Strategy & Architecture team, and overseeing project portfolios. Additional roles at Roche included leadership in the APAC region and e-business strategies. Daniel's earlier experience includes positions as Managing Consultant at Morph IT Consulting and IT Consultant at KAZ. Educational qualifications include an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a B.Eng (Hons) in Electronics from De Montfort University, complemented by executive education at Carnegie Mellon University.
