Hwee Ing Ng

Hwee Ing Ng is a seasoned professional in the biomedical and life sciences field, currently serving as Lab and Quality Assurance Manager at The University of Queensland since May 2025. Prior to this role, Hwee Ing held positions as Upstream Supervisor - Manufacturing at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Senior GMP Production Officer/Scientist at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. Hwee Ing has also participated in The Bridge Program and contributed to Vaxxas as a Bioanalytical Scientist. Academic distinctions include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Bachelor's degree in Science with first-class honors from The University of Queensland, as well as a Diploma in Biomedical Laboratory Technology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Hwee Ing also has experience as a tutor and demonstrator in various biological courses and has worked as a laboratory technician during the H1N1 outbreak and as a relief teacher in a secondary school setting.
