Andy Tattersall

Andy Tattersall is an Open Research Communications Specialist and Information Specialist at The University of Sheffield, with a focus on Health Economics and Decision Science at The School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR). Since 2001, Andy has been involved in various aspects of digital academia, technology, scholarly communications, and open research through writing, teaching, and public speaking. In addition to this role, Andy has served as a Research Communications Trainer since January 2017, addressing the evolving nature of research communication driven by digital platforms. Prior to these positions, Andy worked as a Sub Editor at the Press Association, where responsibilities included editing press releases and sports copy as well as conducting interviews. Andy holds an MSc in Information Management and a BA in Journalism Studies, both from The University of Sheffield.
