Ben Petty McIpp

Ben Petty MCIPP possesses extensive experience in finance and pensions management, currently serving as the Head of Finance Operations at The University of Sheffield since April 2023, along with interim responsibilities in the same field and overseeing payroll and pensions. Additional roles include being a Governor at Hill Top CofE Primary School since January 2024 and a Pension Board Member for West Yorkshire Pension Fund from January 2022 to April 2023. Prior to these positions, Ben held various titles at the University of Bradford between December 2012 and April 2023, including Finance Operations Manager and Payroll & Pensions Manager. Previous experience includes working as a Pensions Administrator at The Pensions Trust and Capita Employee Benefits and as a Pensions & Reward Administrator at Yorkshire Building Society Group. Ben's educational background includes AS Level Law and a complete set of A-C GCSEs from Dixons City Technology College.
