Mark McIntosh

Mark McIntosh has extensive experience in the engineering and technology sectors, currently serving as Technical Engineering Team Leader, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, and Senior Technician at The University of Sheffield since September 2006. Responsibilities include the design, build, and installation of electrical and electronic equipment, alongside general computer hardware and software support. Prior to this role, Mark worked as a Metallurgical Testing Technician at Outokumpu, where responsibilities included the preparation and testing of sheet steel samples. Mark began their career as an Electrical Engineering Apprentice at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, focusing on electrical installation and the fabrication of electrical and control equipment. Mark holds a Master of Science in Management and Strategic Leadership from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor’s degree in Computing & IT and Business from The Open University.
