Miriam Brown

Miriam Brown is an experienced professional currently serving as the Senior International Officer and Senior Regional Manager at The University of Sheffield since March 2012. Prior to this role, Miriam held the position of Marketing and Communications Manager at the British Council from November 2007 to March 2012. Additional experience includes working as a Community Outreach Officer for the Drug Intervention Programme at DISC, and serving as Schools Liaison Manager and Central America Desk Officer for Project Trust. Miriam holds a BA Hons in German and Hispanic Studies from The University of Sheffield (1999-2003), complemented by studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the University of Valencia under the Erasmus programme. Additionally, Miriam obtained the CELTA qualification in 2011 from the University of Cambridge and has received education from the Office of Government Commerce in 2010.
