Rachel Harland

Rachel Harland is an experienced professional in academic and operational management, currently serving as Deputy Faculty Director of Operations - Academic Services at the University of Sheffield since January 2017. In this role, Rachel collaborates with the Head of School on strategic planning, oversees departmental operations, and manages various administrative and technical functions. Prior experience includes serving as Department Manager at the University of Sheffield Information School and a series of roles at King's College London, including Head of Information & Operations for the Careers Service. Rachel has a solid background in business systems improvement, financial management, and people management, complemented by a Master's Degree in English Language from the University of Edinburgh.
