Sam Birks

Sam Birks is a highly experienced medical educator and practitioner currently serving as a University Teacher in Medical Education (Digital Learning), Interim Academic Lead for Anatomy, and University Teacher in Medical Anatomy at The University of Sheffield since August 2017. Additionally, Sam Birks is working as an Emergency Medicine Registrar Doctor at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Previous experience includes serving as an Emergency Medicine Specialist Trainee Doctor and Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, complemented by a diverse clinical background through various rotations. Sam Birks holds a Master's degree in Health Professions Education from the University of York, a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from The University of Sheffield, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of York, and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Anatomy from the University of Leeds.
